Another Jewish school attack in France

A 12-year-old boy was beaten outside his Jewish school in Paris by youths reciting anti-Semitic slogans, school officials said, amid high security and tensions in France following killings of Jewish children and a rabbi last week.
Despite an increase in security at Jewish schools in France following the Toulouse tragedy last Monday, this attack occurred just 100 meters from the Ozar Hatorah school in Paris. Details have not been released on the incident, as it involves minors, but we do know “the boy did not suffer serious injuries.”
Pray that authorities will take seriously these threats against Jews and Jewish institutions — and pray for safety for Jewish communities throughout Europe, where anti-Semitism is steadily increasing.

Toulouse terrorist dead
Comments (2) »An al-Qaeda-inspired gunman who killed seven people in France died on Thursday after jumping out of a window of his apartment, where he had been holed up for some 30 hours in a standoff with police, Interior Minister Claude Gueant said.
Mohammed Merah, a 23-year-old Frenchman of Algerian origin, had been silent for hours but opened fire on special forces who stormed the building and was killed in the ensuing gunbattle.
“At the moment when a video probe was sent into the bathroom, the killer came out of the bathroom, firing with extreme violence,” Gueant told reporters at the scene, adding that Merah was firing several guns at once.
“In the end, Merah jumped from the window with his gun in his hand, continuing to fire. He was found dead on the ground,” he said..

French police suspect neo-Nazis linked to Toulouse attack

Photo that led to soldiers' dismissal from French army
According to the French paper Le Point, police in France are looking for three former paratroopers in connection to the shooting at the Jewish school that left Rabbi Jonathan Sandler, his two children, Gavriel and Aryeh, ages three and six, and eight-year-old Miriam Monstago dead. The suspects were discharged from the French army in 2008, after it was discovered that they were neo-Nazis.
The suspects are believed to have carried out multiple attacks in recent weeks, including the murders of Imad Ibn-Ziaten, Abel Chennouf, and Mohamed legoud. All three victims were off-duty French soldiers of North African descent.
The bodies of the four Jewish shooting victims will be sent to Israel for burial.
