U.S. Ambassador to Israel James Cunningham announced that President Barack Obama is planning a visit to Israel
. No date has been announced as of yet, but the president is intent on visiting the Jewish state in the near future.
Israelis overwhelmingly view Obama in a negative light. And while a large number of American Jews have consistently voted Democrat, many are now voicing criticism of Obama’s handling of Israel and the Middle East.
When Obama toured the Middle East shortly after being elected president, he skipped Israel. Many Israelis viewed that as an insult, especially considering that the Holy Land is the only true democracy in the Middle East and is a longstanding ally of the U.S.
Obama will likely not receive the same warm reception in Israel that other U.S. presidents have enjoyed. And the fact that he is planning his visit as the U.S. presidential elections are heating up adds strength to the belief that his trip may be meant only to help him win reelection.

Let him come when the next flotilla is scheduled. Let him see first hand who is really the aggressor. Israel don’t trust him he is not a friend of yours. I’m ashamed of that fact as an American. He does not understand the seriousness of why your boarders can’t go back to 1967. He thinks if he just talks to you and the leader of the Palestiani leader that he can broker a peace. What he is going to say is that we can no longer keep you safe. Due to all the middle East being on fire they will come after you, so accept what is offered or be destroyed. Obama and Mr. Sorros and a few do gooders started this mess in the Abrab lands. They didn’t know what they were getting into. Obama really thinks if Israel makes peace the rest of the world could live in peace. You are being blamed all over again for causing all the trouble just like in Germany under Hitler. So many areas don’t like the Jews. I can’t believe the antisemitism I am getting just trying to get people to stand up for you. Many people here say we fight wars but we have never taken over someone’s land. Yet we have troops all over the world. Americans tried to do the right thing but now with Obama he wants to start a new world order. That new world order does not include the state of Israel. Please be careful!

It seems to me that President Obama NOW sees the importance of being a loving neighbor to Israel. Who are we to judge his intent for visiting them? Only God knows what his motives are. The important thing in this case is that he intends to visit them and on friendly terms. I have heard him, in an interview, confess Jesus as Lord of his life and that he has learned to be in prayer continuously, in the position that he holds. When I heard him say that, I knew that God was refining him in his position as president, because he was more humble in that interview compared to the beginning of his presidency. We have know idea what he goes through on a day-to-day basis. I wonder if any president truly desires to run a second time as president or is it God requiring this task for them that they have no choice but only to obey God? God has placed every being in the positions we find ourselves in. We MUST pray for him and all of his officials, because as human beings, we sometimes know not what we do. We fall short and need God’s direction at all times. I understand how God, in the Bible days, brought reprocushions on many a people due to one mistake of a leader- such as when David did the census. It costed 70,000 souls in Israel. God was still upheld as merciful in that case. We should remember to focus on prayer for Israel and their leaders and we should not forget the leaders of all the neighboring countries- including America. I thank the good Lord that He has been merciful to America. It is my hope that we in America will continue to stand for Israel. I pray for peace and a heart of continuous gratitude in Israel and in all parts of the world.

Obama is a typical politician. Just that this democrat is an extreme leftest and in all actuality hates the jewish state and see’s it as a hinderance to middle east peace. He wants a peace without a jewish state.. I pray that he is not re-elected because that will spell death for the united states. Any country that blesses Isreal will it self be blessed.

I think Israel should be careful, although I am american with freedom rights, as we used to have, Israel should be careful of those who want their land. Israel was given to the Jews from God, not to be given piece by piece to others in bargaisn for peace. Those seeking peace if genuine, should want nothing in return except peace. The Jews ARE gOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE, all before helped Israel when being attacked, I don’t trust this visit and will be a happy camper at the next election as most americans.
