Israeli family stabbed to death in West Bank

A terrorist broke into a West Bank home Friday night and killed five family members. The victims were identified as the Fogel family: Udi, 36, his wife Ruth, 35, and their children Yoav, 11, Elad, 4 and Hadas, 3 months:

Five family members were found murdered in their residence in the West Bank Itamar settlement Friday overnight, after a suspected terrorist broke and entered the house and stabbed the five to death. Two children managed to escape and survived the attack, Army Radio reported.

An emergency team that arrived at the scene at 1:00 a.m. announced a couple, their 11-year old child, 3-year-old toddler, and a one-month baby girl dead from stabbing wounds.

Palestinian media on Saturday reported that a faction of Fatah’s al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade claimed responsibility for the stabbing incident.

Residents of the settlement reported that shots were heard in the area and that the terrorist succeeded in fleeing from the scene.

May God be with all those near and dear to the Fogel family. And may their murderers be brought to justice.

My dear Jewish friends of Israel.

I was very sad and shock to read about the stabbing to death of the innocent Fogel family and can’t comprehend a human being can commit such heinous crime. This is evil to its full extend and those who did this will be severely punish by God our Creator on their judgment day.

As a Canadian Roman Catholic Christian I will pray and ask God for his blessing onto the Fogel family and bring peace to Israel.

It seems as the Holocaust continues and the people remain silent. I love the Jewish People. I pray for the peace of Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. May Jehovah Most High be with the grieving family.

People who do these acts of murder are pawns of Satan. They think they will go to Heaven but prove they belong in Hell. The group who did this should be treated like animals with rabies.

What really upset me about this story was how Israel’s critics (surprise surprise) refused to acknowledge how Palestinian incitement has played such a role in murders like this. To hear it from them he was just a crazy person or any other generic criminal. Please.
The JCPA published an interesting article about the role that incitement has played in this conflict. Apparently it has been a problem for much longer than we thought:

This is a tragedy for Israel . I as an israeli am very sad . I think of the americans who died on 9\11 . I am sorry about every bad word I ever said about christians . Christianity is the REAL religion of peace . christians are peaceful and the true brothers ans sisters of the jews . I should have known that Islam is the real evil . They killed americans , they kill christians in their own lands , and they kill jews . I don’t see christians or jews do that .

You christians are my best friends. I am sorry if I ever hurt you . Jesus was a jew like myself . So I can respect this man , who never ordered his believers to kill and spread hate . Blessed be the name of Jesus Christ !

I liked your comment. I am a Christian American, who loves and prays for Jerusalem, G-ds chosen people. Many evils have been done in the name of God, whether Christian or other religions, but the true believers pursue peace and love Israel. Jesus died for all the world and the only way to true peace is to believe in him, the only begotten Son of G_d.

My heart aches for the loss of the Fogel Family, and my condolences to them and the surviving children. I printed the news articles on my blog last night. People need to be awary of the savagery that the Palestinians are capable of perpetrating. I agrre with P.M. Netanyahu when he said that critics of Israel were quicked to condemn a settlement on the West Bank than they were the brutal murders of children. I hope the killer(S) and anyone involved in the murder is quickly found and that swift justice is delivered.
