Hamas vows to foil Holocaust lessons in U.N. schools

Leaders of Hamas and Fatah protested teaching about the Holocaust at schools run by UNRWA (the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, calling these lessons a “provocative act”:

The Hamas government said that the UN group’s intention to include the Holocaust in school text books was a “challenge to the feelings of the Palestinians.” It accused UNRWA of carrying out a political agenda that did not serve the interests of the Palestinians and “violates their culture and unchangeable values.”

Hamas said it was also opposed to the move because it would pave the way for normalization with Israel.

“This is an attempt to impose on us the culture of normalization with the occupation,” said a statement issued by the Hamas-controlled Ministry of Culture in the Gaza Strip. “They want us to accept the tales and lies to win sympathy.”

The ministry described the Holocaust as a lie, saying it had been exaggerated to garner sympathy for the “usurping entity” at the expense of the rights and interests of the Palestinians.

how could hamas and the palestinans have hurt feelings over the HOLOCAUST,they are offended because they aren’t normal or sane, they are ruthless killers and wouldn’t want to accept the truth if it came up behind them and slapped them along the side of their head!

Hamas should not be expected to accept the Holocaust. How could a born and an avowed enemy accept the most evil thing that ever happened to the people they eternally hated while the altimate desire is total destruction. The point is that when absolute evil blinds a person, nothing reasonable, even in its basic form is visible to the eye. It is sad, if the ear is also shut dead. May we therefore pray to the LORD to heal their sight and open the ears in the name of the God of Israel Yeshua HaMashia.

Oh Israel, how the Lord your God would that you would turn, see, and accept Him, skin off, skin on; but you would not, and now He must defend you in your weakest state, at the risk and threat of total loss. What do you think your God is capable of, and do you know His name?

So you say the Holocaust is a lie. Well there are some that say that the birth, death, and ressurection of Jesus Christ is a lie too. My, My are you going to be surprised. I pray that none of you leave this world without Jesus. Try Jesus for 6 weeks, if you don’t like it the devil will always. take you back.

Barbara, I am absolutely and positively sure that your six week trial is too long. I know a man who was sick for 38 years, it took a moment in a day to test and see the goodness of the Savior of Israel. The personal knowledge of Him, Yeshua is most satisfying and eternal. Peace be with you all.

Since “the Leaders” of Hamas have reportedly stated that teaching about the Holocaust in the West Bank and Gaza Strip is to them a “provocative act.” Then, I hope that the teaching of the Holocaust “provokes them to love and good deeds.”

Hamas is a joke. The only reason they have any control is because they take weak minded people who believe their crap. I burn the koran every chance I get. Our President OBAMA may not support you, but 81% of The United States do support and would fight for you guy in Israel….

Amen! God blesses those who love Israel so pray for her and defend her with your life if necessary. God will fight with you and He promised that Israel will always survive even until the end of time. Israel is refined by fire and tribulation and she will receive Eternal Life in Him. Baruch HaShem!
